JOURNALISTS OF PATIALA HELD CANDLE MARCH TO PROTEST KILLING OF INNOCENT CHILDREN IN PAKISTAN.Patiala, December 17 : The journalist fraternity of Patiala today held a candle march to protest against the brutal killings of innocent children in Pakistan yesterday
The protest under the banner of Patiala Media Club and Photo-Journalists Welfare Associasion started from fountain chowk in the city in which around 100 journalist from almost all the major publications participated. Holding lit up candles in hand they went up to Sheranwala wala gate where they placed candles in.the chowk. These protesting journalist also raised slogans against the militants around the globe and decried the brutal killings. They also urged the government of different nations to come together and formulate a strategy to counter the terrorism which is effecting every country in the world
